HISTORY
Baxin began in the 8th Century with the production of their namesake, Baxin biscuits, and retain their unique flavour to the present day.
Today these little Medieval Baxin biscuits, are registered with Slowfood and included in many foreign and Italian guides like "Il Golosario" or the French " Guide Gantie".

Since 1933 when Baxin was established in Albenga, a vital component of our business has been the sourcing of many ingredients for Baxin products from Piemonte, where our family originates.  Today, thanks to the expansion of the global market Baxin exports typical, quality Italian products worldwide, with the attention to detail and quality one expects from a family firm.

We now want to provide our more "long distance" customers with the same service and quality fresh produce direct to their home.

 
THE BAXIN
The origin of the sweet Baxin is unknown.
It is thought they were invented around 1700, from a traditional recipe
Baxin are a speciality of Liguria, particularly in the area of Albenga.
There are many imitations, but the real baxin are marked with
the registered trademark.
This sweet biscuit has a yellow colour and a sweet taste flavoured with anise.
It also contains lemon, sugar, 00 flour and honey.
